Purchasing Your Digital Files

Yes, you are able to purchase your digital files and get them printed at any photo printing location - you even get a copyright release form accompanying your cd/dvd!  They are yours without restriction.  But there a few things you should know about your files.

1.  HIGH RESOLUTION - They are high resolution images, around 8x10 at 300dpi.

2.  UN-RETOUCHED - Your files will not have any post processing work applied to them.  There are many free image manipulations programs.  You will also get a link to the portion of the website that has them listed.  (Retouching service is available)

3.  UN-EDITED - Your images will also be un-edited.  They may need re-aligned, color corrected, color toned, color balanced, cropped, dust spotted, lightened, darkened.  As photography goes, the final image that you see is rarely as it is out of the camera.  Photographers utilize a host of software programs to enhance images and apply correction techniques.  YOUR IMAGES on the cd/dvd will be no exception.  They will need manipulated to achieve a pleasing visual effect.  If you are not comfortable editing you images, you may not want to purchase them on cd/dvd.  (Editing service is available)

4.  WHY WE OFFER THIS OPTION - Although your images will take some work, it is an economical way to have your images permanently archived.  You may, at a later date have your images re-touched and order prints.  It also a great way to be able to share your images online with friends and family without having to pass around an album.

5.  PRO-LINKS - When you purchase your digital files, you will get the password to the digital editing section of this website.  You will find many free or low cost tools to assist you with editing your own digital files.
